Description

This figure reflects the splendour of the Venice Carnival, a festival that celebrates the rebirth of light and the end of winter. Elegantly dressed, the lady receives her mysterious companion at the foot of the staircase. Hidden behind a mask, the gentleman greets her with a polite bow. Enamels have been used in its decoration, so the finish does not appear a smooth and uniform colour, but instead reflects a richness of textures and chromatic effects that make each piece unique and exceptional.
