Fair Play Children Football Figurine

Description

This piece depicts a couple of children playing football, fighting to shoot the ball and perhaps score a goal. Both are equipped in sportswear and football boots, but their colours, one white and the other blue and red, do not represent any particular team. The composition is lively, full of movement, with the ball at the tip of the boot, almost in the air. The force of the kick is felt throughout the scene, in the hair flying in the wind, the determination of the faces and the outstretched arms. The pentagonal pieces of the regulation ball are engraved and painted on the porcelain.
