Arketipo started in the 1980’s being a textile manufacturer and gradually turned into manufacturing upholstered furniture. The main focus set out by Arketipo was to offer the best quality along with great design. Along with quality Italian sofas, Arketipo manufacture armchairs and only recently have brought about doing accessories. The company got some interest due to the high quality furniture from competitors and was acquired by Cattelan Italia in 2011. With the help from Cattelan, Arketipo is becoming one of the biggest sofa manufacturers in the world.
